$125.00 Invoice for your 2008 Annual Membership Dues. This amount was due on January 1.  On July 1 a $35.00 late fee will be applied to all member’s accounts who have not made payment or arranged for partial payment by June 30. Alliance Defense Fund LogoThe Alliance Defense Fund Announces Program of Free Legal Advice and Guidlines to Churches and Pastors Regarding Political Campaigning

The program is intended to counter ACLU’s efforts to censor churches
The Alliance Defense Fund, in association with the James Madison Center for Free Speech, will offer free legal advice to churches, pastors, and priests on how to speak about the great social and moral issues of our day without risking the loss of tax-exempt status.

To this end, they have prepared a free guide summarizing the various activities that are allowed under the Internal Revenue Code and the Federal Election Campaign Act.
You may view these guidlines and other information at The Alliance Defense fund website at www.alliancedefensefund.org.

11 Men Baptized in Federal Prison

ECA Federal Prison Chaplain, Rev. Phil Harden of Fort Dix, NJ recently reported, “Tonight 11 men were baptized. What made this baptism service unique were the testimonies of the men at the beginning of the service. I asked them to share what had brought them to this stage in their lives. One man immediately spoke up and said that he decided to come to Christ after being shot nine times. Others shared that they became Christians as a result of the testimonies thru life styles of the Christian brothers that they met in prison.

Retrospectively, I am not ready to advocate that we use guns as a means of evangelism, but I do affirm that God can work even in the worst of situations to bring people to himself. Also, the testimonies tell us that there are many strong, Christian men living inside our prisons. It also challenges us all to live in such a manner that our lives would attract others to Jesus--even those who may seem to be the most unlikely candidates for the Gospel. Please keep praying for the brothers who are 'living really free' on the inside.

Rev., Dr. Charles Eisenberg's The Book of Daniel, A Well Kept Secret Republished
Daniel A Well Kept Secret
Xulon Press in Longwood Florida has just released a long-time favorite, The Book of Daniel, A Well Kept Secret. Josh McDowell endorsed the book with these comments, "There are few men that I know that have a greater grasp of the Scriptures than Dr. Charles Eisenberg. In this unusual and innovative study of the Book of Daniel, he gets to the heart of Messianic prophecy found in Daniel 9:25-26. If you are sincerely seeking the truth concerning the Messiah, you can find Him within the covers of this book. I highly recommend. it."

Please pray for the distribution of this work and also pray for the annual God, The Jew and You Conference which wil be held July 13-20, 2008, at the Bay Ridge Christian Center and Park Slope Church, both in Brooklyn, NY.
