2008 Annual Conference Highlights
Branson 2008 was a great hit. It’s difficult to determine if it was the quality of the speakers, the worship led by the Bostocks, the warm camaraderie among the attendees or a combination of everything. If you were some place else during July 22-24, you missed out!
Eighteen Candidates came from throughout the country, plus one traveled from South Korea and another from China to be Ordained into the ministry. What a rich time the Ordination Ceremony was from the traditional entrance including the posting of the colors to the charge and inception into membership at the end. It was a moving experience as the line of Ordinands and their spouses lined the front of the conference room at the closing.
Each day was filled with a top-notch speaker lineup with
afternoons free so that our conference goers could enjoy the many shows and
amenities that Branson is famous for.
(We are deeply grateful for the complimentary passes by the Sight and
Sound Theatre, which were provided to our attendees to the world-class musical,
“Noah”.)
