2003 Annual Conference, A Smorgasbord for Everyone
Reported by Dr. H. A. (Hank) Roso, VP, Evangelical Church Alliance When all was said and done, the closing of the ECA's 2003 conference left attendees satiated with blessings of inspirational news from many parts of the world, enlivening worship, invigorating preaching, and cherished fellowship. As one who has been attending ECA's Annual conferences for over twenty years,I can honestly say, this one was one that I wished every one of our members could have experienced. |

Biggest Challenge to Missions Today - Tormented Africans Cry Out to Evangelical America!
by the Rev. Wm. Thomas Bray , Missions Editor at Large
One can hardly blame the average evangelical in the USA for being frustrated and uninvolved in most foreign missions programs today. Many believe that there is little the average American evangelical can do except pray and send finances! However, this is not the case with the humanitarian crisis in sub-Sahara Africa. In Africa we see the other side of missions – the urgent need for aid to desperately needy believers in already established churches and missions. In Africa, millions of sick, starving and suffering people are literally crying out for us to come over and help them. There is much each of us could do — if we choose to take action. |
New Health Privacy Regulations Impact Clergy

ECA Member - Derek Prince , A Father of the Faith Passes Away
Derek Prince, a distinguished Bible teacher and author and longtime Jerusalem resident, died on September 24, following a series of chronic illnesses. He was 88.
In his daily-recorded radio message broadcast this week and available on his website, (www.dpmusa.org), Derek makes mention of the most important message he would want to leave behind for family and friends: "I wouldn't have to hesitate or ponder even for one moment. My message could be summed up in just three words: GOD IS FAITHFUL.
Derek has thirty-five grandchildren, fifty-eight great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Eight grandsons are full-time Christian ministry, as are two great-grandsons. |
